Ingredients:
Assorted fruits (strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, mango, pineapple, etc.)
Honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
Water
Ice pop molds
Ice pop sticks
Instructions:
Prepare the Fruits:
Wash all the fruits thoroughly.
Peel and chop them into chunks if necessary.
Make Fruit Purees:
Divide the fruits into separate bowls based on their colors (red, blue/purple, green, yellow, orange).
Blend each fruit separately until smooth. Add a little honey or maple syrup if desired for sweetness.
Layering the Ice Pops:
Start with one color of fruit puree. Pour a small amount into each ice pop mold, filling it about 1/3 full.
Place the molds in the freezer for about 30 minutes or until the puree is partially frozen.
Adding Layers:
Remove the molds from the freezer and add the next color of fruit puree. Pour it carefully on top of the partially frozen layer.
Insert the ice pop sticks into the molds. If necessary, the partially frozen layer will hold the sticks upright.
Return the molds to the freezer for another 30 minutes.
Completing the Ice Pops:
Repeat the process with the remaining fruit purees, creating layers until the molds are filled.
Freeze the ice pops for at least 4 hours or until completely firm.
Enjoying Your Rainbow Ice Pops:
To unmold the ice pops, run the molds briefly under warm water to loosen them.
Serve the rainbow ice pops immediately and enjoy the fruity, colorful treat!
Tips:
Encourage kids to experiment with different fruit combinations and layering techniques.
Use vibrant fruits to create a visually appealing rainbow effect.
Ensure the ice pop sticks are inserted straight to keep the layers aligned.
